Three men are stranded on a deserted island when they stumble upon a bottle buried in the sand. Excitedly, they uncork the bottle and out pops a genie.
"I will grant each of you one wish," the genie says. The first man quickly blurts out, "I wish to be rich!" And with a snap of the genie's fingers, the man finds himself surrounded by piles of money.
The second man, eager to outdo his friend, exclaims, "I wish to be even richer than him!" And just like that, he is showered in gold coins and jewels.
Now it's the third man's turn. He looks around at his two newly wealthy friends and says, "You know, I'm feeling a bit lonely out here on this island. I wish for my friends to be right back here with me!"
And with a wave of the genie's hand, the first two men are back on the island, penniless and wondering why they ever wished to be rich in the first place.
