Horseplay: A Close Call on the Quirky Farm

Three friends, Jim, Bob, and Bill, were on a road trip when their car broke down in the middle of nowhere. They had no cell service and no idea where the nearest town was, so they decided to start walking.

After hours of walking, they stumbled upon a small farm. They knocked on the door and an old farmer answered.

"Hey there, we're in a bit of a pickle. Our car broke down and we're lost. Can you help us?" Jim asked.

The farmer scratched his head and thought for a moment. "Well, I can give you a horse to ride into town. But I must warn you, this horse has a bit of a quirk. He only responds to people using specific words. You gotta say 'Thank God' to make him go and 'Amen' to make him stop."

The friends were desperate, so they agreed and each hopped on the horse. Jim said "Thank God" and the horse started trotting towards town. They were making good progress until they heard a loud noise in the distance. It was a train coming towards them.

Bob, who was riding in the front, started panicking. He forgot the words to stop the horse and could only remember "Hallelujah!" The horse didn't respond and continued galloping towards the train tracks.

Jim and Bill were yelling at Bob to remember the words, but it was too late. They were getting closer and closer to the train when, at the last second, Bob remembered the word and yelled "Amen!" The horse screeched to a halt just inches away from the tracks.

They were all relieved and thanked the farmer for his help. As they continued their journey into town, Jim turned to Bob and said, "Phew, that was a close one. We almost got run over by a train!"

Bob replied, "Yeah, I guess you could say we were just a 'Hallelujah' away from disaster!"
