The Tale of Elbowitis and the Money-Hungry Frog

A man goes to the doctor complaining of a strange problem. He tells the doctor, "Every time I touch my elbow, it hurts like crazy!"

The doctor examines the man and is puzzled by the strange complaint. He asks the man to demonstrate what he means, so the man touches his elbow and winces in pain.

The doctor thinks for a moment and then says, "I think I know what's wrong. You have a rare condition called 'Elbowitis'. The only cure is to go see a specialist who can help you."

So the man goes to see the specialist, who examines him and confirms the diagnosis of Elbowitis. The specialist tells the man that the only known cure is to go to a far-off island and seek out a magical frog that can lick his elbow and make the pain go away.

Desperate to be free of the pain, the man books a flight to the island and sets out to find the magical frog. After days of searching, he finally finds the frog and asks it to lick his elbow.

To his amazement, the frog licks his elbow and the pain disappears instantly. Ecstatic, the man thanks the frog profusely and prepares to head back home.

But the frog stops him and says, "Wait! There's just one more thing you need to know. Every time you touch your elbow from now on, you have to pay me $100."

The man is taken aback but agrees, grateful for the relief from the pain. As he boards the flight back home, he can't help but smile at the absurdity of the situation. And as he settles in his seat, he reaches out to touch his elbow, only to stop himself with a laugh at the thought of that magical, money-hungry frog.
