A man walks into a bar and sees a sign that says, "Free drinks for the person who can make my horse laugh." Intrigued, the man asks the bartender about the challenge.
The bartender explains that the horse has been looking sad lately, and he's willing to give out free drinks to anyone who can cheer him up.
The man thinks for a moment and then decides to give it a shot. He walks over to the horse and whispers something in his ear. Suddenly, the horse starts laughing uncontrollably, snorting and neighing with joy.
The bartender is amazed and asks the man what he said to the horse.
The man replies, "I told him a dad joke."
The bartender laughs and asks, "What was the joke?"
The man grins and says, "Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field!"
The bartender doubles over with laughter, and the man collects his free drinks. As he walks away, he can still hear the horse chuckling in the background.
From that day on, the man became known as the guy who could make a horse laugh, and he was welcomed into the bar with open arms whenever he wanted a drink. And all because of a simple dad joke.
