The Therapist's Drastic (and Hilarious) Solution to Stress

A man goes to see a therapist because he's feeling stressed out and overwhelmed with work. The therapist asks him to describe his daily routine so she can pinpoint where the stress is coming from.

The man starts explaining, "Well, I wake up at 6am and immediately start panicking about all the things I have to do that day. I rush to get ready for work, barely have time to eat breakfast, and then I get stuck in traffic for an hour. By the time I finally get to the office, I'm already exhausted and it's only 9am!"

The therapist nods sympathetically, "That does sound like a lot to handle. Have you tried any stress-relief techniques, like deep breathing or meditation?"

The man scoffs, "Oh please, I don't have time for that hippie nonsense. I just grab a cup of coffee and power through the day. But then my boss is always breathing down my neck, my coworkers are driving me crazy, and don't even get me started on the endless emails and meetings!"

The therapist pauses for a moment, then says, "I think I know the solution to all your problems. You need to quit your job, move to a remote cabin in the woods, and live off the land. You can hunt for your own food, build a cozy shelter, and disconnect from all the modern stresses of society."

The man's eyes widen in horror, "Are you kidding me?! I can't just up and leave everything behind to become a hermit! How would I survive without my smartphone, my designer clothes, and my fancy car?"

The therapist smiles knowingly, "Exactly. Sometimes the best way to deal with stress is to simplify your life and appreciate the little things. Plus, I hear the Wi-Fi is great in the woods."
