A man walks into a bar and orders a drink. As he sits down at the bar, he notices a bowl of peanuts in front of him. He starts eating the peanuts, but as he takes a bite, he hears a voice say, "Hey, nice tie!"
The man looks around, confused, but doesn't see anyone who could have spoken. He shrugs it off and continues eating the peanuts. But then he hears the voice again, saying, "Hey, great haircut!"
Now the man is starting to get a little freaked out. He looks around again, but still doesn't see anyone. He asks the bartender if he heard anything, but the bartender just shrugs and says he didn't hear anything.
The man is about to leave when he hears the voice once more, saying, "Hey, you have a winning smile!"
At this point, the man is thoroughly spooked. He asks the bartender if he has been hearing the voice too, but the bartender insists he hasn't heard a thing. The man decides to leave, but as he walks out the door, he hears the voice one last time, saying, "Hey, come back soon! We peanuts will miss you!"
Turns out, it was just the peanuts talking the whole time!
