The Talking Dog Comedian: A Tail of Stand-Up Success

Two friends, John and Mike, were walking down the street when they spotted a sign that read "Talking dog for sale – $10." Intrigued, they decided to check it out.

They went to the address on the sign and were greeted by a man who led them to the backyard where a dog was lounging on a chair, wearing sunglasses and reading a newspaper.

"Is this the talking dog?" John asked in amazement.

The man nodded and said, "Yes, he can talk. Go ahead, ask him a question."

Mike, still skeptical, decided to test the dog. "What's on top of a house?" he asked.

The dog looked at him and said, "Roof!"

John and Mike burst out laughing, shocked that the dog could actually talk. They decided to buy him on the spot and took him home.

As they were walking back, they couldn't resist teasing the dog. "Do you like cats?" John asked.

The dog replied, "Meow!"

They were cracking up at the dog's silly responses when suddenly, he turned to them and said, "You guys really think you're funny, huh? Well, wait till you see my stand-up comedy routine!"

John and Mike couldn't believe their ears as the dog started cracking jokes, making them laugh harder than ever before.

From that day on, the talking dog became the talk of the town, performing at comedy clubs and events to sold-out crowds. And John and Mike? They realized they had stumbled upon a real gem, all thanks to a simple sign and a funny dog.
