The Talented Monkey Leroy

A man walks into a bar with his pet monkey. The bartender says, "Hey, you can't bring that monkey in here!"

The man replies, "Oh, don't worry, he's perfectly well-behaved. Watch this." He turns to the monkey and says, "Leroy, order me a beer."

The monkey jumps up on the bar, grabs a napkin, writes something down, and hands it to the bartender. The bartender reads the note, which says, "One beer for the man, please."

Impressed, the bartender serves the man his beer. The man then turns to the monkey again and says, "Leroy, show them your special trick."

The monkey nods, hops off the barstool, runs to the pool table, picks up a pool cue, and sinks every single shot, one after the other. The crowd is amazed.

As the night goes on, the man and his monkey continue to entertain the crowd with their tricks. Finally, the bartender can't take it anymore and says, "Listen, buddy, I'll give you a hundred bucks for that monkey right now!"

The man agrees and hands over Leroy to the bartender. As the man is leaving, the bartender calls out, "Hey, just one question before you go – where did you find a monkey that can play pool and write notes?"

The man chuckles and says, "Oh, that's easy. He used to work in a circus as a fortune-teller. I finally had to let him go because all he ever did was give me the same old response over and over again – 'Outlook not so good.'"
