There was once a man who had a parrot that would constantly swear and say inappropriate things. This caused the man great embarrassment whenever he had guests over.
So, the man decided to take the parrot to a priest to see if he could help. The priest took one look at the parrot and said, "I have the perfect solution. All you have to do is hold the parrot over a bowl of holy water and say a prayer. This will cleanse the parrot of all its bad habits."
The man was skeptical but willing to try anything. So, he followed the priest's instructions and held the parrot over a bowl of holy water while saying a prayer. To his amazement, the parrot suddenly stopped swearing and began reciting Bible verses.
The man was thrilled and thanked the priest profusely. However, a few days later, the parrot started swearing again. The man was furious and immediately took the parrot back to the priest.
The priest took one look at the parrot and said, "Oh, I see what the problem is. You see, that parrot was baptized, but he was never confirmed."
