A man walks into a bar and sees a sign that says, "Free drinks for life if you can make the horse laugh."
The man thinks to himself, "Well, that sounds easy enough!" So he goes up to the bartender and asks, "So how do I make the horse laugh?"
The bartender points to a door in the back of the bar and says, "Go back there and give it a try."
So the man walks back to the door, opens it, and sees a horse sitting at a table. He starts telling the horse all kinds of jokes, doing funny dances, and even making funny faces but the horse just stares at him blankly.
The man starts to get frustrated and thinks, "I'll never get free drinks at this rate!" Just then, a little old man sitting at the bar approaches him and says, "Hey, I know how to make that horse laugh. Follow me."
The old man leads the man back to the horse, whispers something in its ear, and the horse bursts out laughing hysterically. The man is amazed and asks the old man, "How did you do that?"
The old man looks at him and says, "Well, I've been coming to this bar for years and I've heard all your jokes before. But I never heard that horse laugh before. That's a first!"
