A man walks into a bar with a parrot on his shoulder. The bartender asks, "Hey, where did you get that thing?"
The parrot replies, "I won him in a poker game."
The bartender is amazed and says, "Wow, I've never heard of a parrot playing poker before. What's his strategy?"
The man chuckles and says, "Well, he's not very good at bluffing, but he's great at squawking when he has a good hand."
Just then, a cat walks into the bar and jumps up on the counter. The bartender asks, "What's with the cat?"
The man laughs and says, "Oh, that's the parrot's rival. They've been playing poker together for years."
The bartender is intrigued and says, "Really? A cat and a parrot playing poker? Who usually wins?"
The man shrugs and replies, "Well, it's always a close game, but the parrot usually has the upper hand. You know what they say, 'birds of a feather win at poker together!'"
The bartender and the other patrons burst out laughing at the silly joke, and the man and his animal companions continue their card game in the corner of the bar, entertaining everyone with their ridiculous antics.
