The Jokester's Misadventures: A Tale of Hilarity and Humiliation

A man walks into a bar and sees a sign that says, "Free drinks for the person who can make our bartender laugh." The man thinks to himself, "I'm pretty funny," and decides to give it a shot.

He walks up to the bartender and says, "Hey, why did the tomato turn red?" The bartender looks at him, unimpressed, and shrugs. The man continues, "Because it saw the salad dressing!"

The bartender stares at him for a moment before bursting out laughing. The man is ecstatic and enjoys his free drink.

Feeling confident, he decides to try his luck again. He walks up to the bartender and says, "What do you call a fish with no eyes?" The bartender raises an eyebrow, waiting for the punchline. The man grins and says, "Fsh!"

The bartender bursts into laughter again, unable to contain himself. The man is on a roll now and starts telling joke after joke, each one funnier than the last.

At the end of the night, the bartender thanks the man for the entertainment and hands him a pile of free drink vouchers. The man is overjoyed and leaves the bar feeling like the king of comedy.

The next night, the man decides to try his luck at a different bar. He walks in, sees the sign, and confidently approaches the bartender. He tells his best joke, but the bartender just stares at him blankly.

Confused, the man tries another joke, and still, no reaction. Feeling defeated, he tries one last joke, but the bartender remains stoic.

Finally, the bartender looks at the man and says, "I'm sorry, sir, but our bartender here is deaf. He can't hear your jokes."

The man's face turns bright red as he realizes his mistake. He sheepishly hands over the vouchers and quietly leaves the bar, feeling like the biggest fool in town.
