A man walks into a bar and sees a sign that says, "Free drinks for life if you can make the horse laugh." Intrigued, the man asks the bartender about the sign.
The bartender explains that the horse in the corner is a very solemn creature and has never been known to laugh. The man, determined to win free drinks for life, approaches the horse and whispers something in its ear. To his surprise, the horse bursts out laughing, rolling on the floor and snorting with joy.
The man returns to the bartender, who is amazed at the sight of the laughing horse. "Congratulations," says the bartender, "you've won free drinks for life. But I have to ask, what did you say to make the horse laugh?"
The man grins and replies, "I told him I have a bigger carrot than he does."
