One day, a man decided to go on a fishing trip by himself. He packed up his gear, got into his boat, and headed out into the middle of the lake.
As he was sitting there, enjoying the peacefulness of nature, suddenly a loud voice boomed from the sky, "Catch the biggest fish in the lake, and I will grant you one wish!"
The man was taken aback but quickly got excited about the prospect of making a wish. He cast out his line and waited patiently. After a few minutes, he felt a huge tug on his line and started reeling in his catch. To his amazement, he had caught a massive, 6-foot-long fish!
Ecstatic, the man looked up to the sky and said, "I caught the biggest fish in the lake! I want a million dollars!"
Instantly, the sky darkened, and a booming voice replied, "Your wish has been granted!"
Excitedly, the man rushed back to shore, eagerly awaiting his million-dollar prize. But as he got there, he was met by a team of IRS agents who informed him that he owed a million dollars in back taxes.
Frustrated, the man looked up to the sky and shouted, "You tricked me!"
The voice boomed once again, "Sorry, buddy. I'm the fisherman's association. We just like to mess with people who fish in our lake!"
