There was a man who was obsessed with ducks. He had duck posters, duck statues, and even a pet duck named Quackers. One day, he decided to take Quackers to the park for a walk.
As they were strolling along the pond, a woman approached them and asked, "Excuse me, sir, is that a duck you have there?"
The man replied proudly, "Why yes, this is Quackers, my beloved pet duck. Isn't he just the most handsome duck you've ever seen?"
The woman chuckled and said, "Well, I hate to break it to you, but that's not a duck. That's a chicken."
The man was shocked and replied, "No way, that can't be true. Quackers is definitely a duck. He swims in ponds, quacks, and even has webbed feet!"
The woman insisted, "I'm sorry, but I'm a poultry expert and I can assure you that is a chicken."
Feeling confused and frustrated, the man decided to settle the matter once and for all. He looked at Quackers and said, "Okay, Quackers, let's prove this lady wrong. Show her your best duck impression."
Quackers took a deep breath and let out a loud "BAAAAAAK!"
The woman burst out laughing and said, "See, I told you that's a chicken!"
The man sighed in defeat and said, "Well, I guess you're right. But I still love him, even if he is just a chicken pretending to be a duck."
And from that day on, the man and Quackers continued their daily walks in the park, with Quackers proudly strutting around like the chicken in duck's clothing that he was.
