There were three friends – a doctor, a lawyer, and a mathematician – who decided to go on a hunting trip together. They packed up their gear and headed out into the woods, ready to shoot some ducks.
After a few hours of walking through the woods, they finally spotted a big flock of ducks flying overhead. The doctor raised his gun, took aim, and fired – but he missed every single duck.
The lawyer, not wanting to be outdone, took his turn at shooting and also missed all the ducks.
Finally, it was the mathematician's turn. He carefully calculated the trajectory of the ducks, factored in the wind speed and distance, and then pulled the trigger. To everyone's surprise, he didn't miss a single duck – he nailed every one of them in one shot!
The doctor and the lawyer were astonished. "How did you do that?" they asked.
The mathematician just shrugged and said, "It was simple, really. I just used the tried and true formula: duck, duck, goose!"
