The Curious Case of Umbrella Syndrome

A man goes to see a doctor because he's been feeling unwell. After a thorough examination, the doctor tells him that he has a rare and serious condition called "umbrella syndrome."

The man is shocked and asks the doctor what that means. The doctor explains, "Well, whenever it starts raining, you'll feel an uncontrollable urge to open up an umbrella and stand outside for hours on end. It's a very strange and peculiar condition."

The man is understandably worried and asks, "Is there a cure for this umbrella syndrome?" The doctor chuckles and replies, "Yes, there is a cure. It's quite simple actually. All you have to do is take this umbrella and walk around town with it for a week. You'll be cured in no time."

The man is relieved and takes the umbrella from the doctor. He thanks him and heads home. As soon as he steps outside, it starts pouring rain. True to the doctor's words, he feels the urge to open the umbrella and stand outside. He walks around town for a week, holding the umbrella over his head, much to the confusion of passersby.

After a week, the man returns to the doctor's office with a big smile on his face. The doctor asks, "So, have you been cured of your umbrella syndrome?" The man nods enthusiastically and says, "Yes, doctor! I no longer feel the urge to open up an umbrella whenever it rains."

The doctor looks puzzled and asks, "Well, how do you feel now?" The man grins and replies, "Oh, I've developed a new condition now. Every time it snows, I feel the uncontrollable urge to build a snowman in my front yard!"
