The Cure for All Ills: The Ribbiting Tale of the Frog-Eating Man

One day, a man went to see his doctor because he was feeling very unwell. The doctor examined him and ran some tests, then sat the man down to deliver the news.

"I'm sorry to tell you this, but you have a very rare and serious illness," the doctor said.

The man's eyes widened in shock, "Oh no, what is it? What can I do?"

"Well, unfortunately, the only cure for this illness is…to eat a live frog every day for the rest of your life," the doctor replied.

The man was stunned, "A live frog? Are you serious? How is that supposed to cure me?"

The doctor shrugged, "It's a very rare illness, and this is the only known cure. You must do it if you want to get better."

So the man reluctantly agreed to give it a try, and every day he would catch a frog, wash it down with a glass of water, and swallow it whole. And to everyone's amazement, the man started to feel better and better each day.

After a few weeks, the man returned to the doctor for a follow-up appointment. The doctor examined him again and couldn't believe the results.

"I can't believe it, you're completely cured! How did you do it?" the doctor exclaimed.

The man smiled proudly, "It was the frog-eating, doc. It did the trick."

The doctor shook his head in disbelief, "Well, I'll be damned. I've never seen anything like it. But I have to ask, did you really eat a live frog every day?"

The man laughed, "Oh no, I couldn't do that. I tried once, but it was too slimy and wriggly. So I started cooking them first, and they taste much better that way."

The doctor's jaw dropped, "You…you were supposed to eat them alive! That's the whole point!"

The man chuckled, "I know, but hey, a cooked frog a day keeps the doctor away!"
