One day, a man decided to go on a safari in Africa. As he was walking through the jungle, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned around and saw a huge, angry gorilla charging towards him.
The man quickly ran away and the gorilla followed him, gaining on him with every step. Just as the gorilla was about to grab him, the man stumbled and fell on the ground. The gorilla was right on top of him, its massive arms raised to strike.
But suddenly, the gorilla stopped and started laughing uncontrollably. The man was confused and asked, "Why are you laughing? You were about to kill me!"
The gorilla replied, "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. I just couldn't take you seriously with those ridiculous safari shorts you're wearing!"
The man looked down and realized that he had forgotten to put on his pants that morning and was only wearing a pair of bright red shorts. He couldn't help but laugh too, and soon he and the gorilla were rolling on the ground in fits of laughter.
After they had both calmed down, the man thanked the gorilla for sparing his life and they went their separate ways. But from that day on, whenever the man went on a safari, he made sure to wear pants – just in case he ran into that gorilla again.
