A man walks into a bar and sees a sign that says, "Free drinks for the person who can make our resident parrot laugh."
The man, eager to get a free drink, approaches the parrot and starts telling it joke after joke. But no matter what he says, the parrot just sits there, stone-faced.
Frustrated, the man turns to the bartender and says, "I give up. How is anyone supposed to make that parrot laugh?"
The bartender chuckles and says, "Well, it's not easy. You see, that parrot has heard every joke in the book. But if you really want to make him laugh, you have to go up to him and whisper a secret in his ear."
Intrigued, the man leans in and whispers something to the parrot. Suddenly, the parrot erupts into fits of laughter, flapping its wings wildly.
Stunned, the man turns to the bartender and asks, "What did I say that made him laugh?"
The bartender grins and replies, "I can't tell you that. It's a secret."
