A man went to the dentist to have a tooth pulled. The dentist told him, "Don't worry, it will only take a few minutes."
The man replied, "I'm scared, can you please give me something to numb the pain?"
The dentist nodded and gave him a shot of Novocain. After a few minutes, the dentist began to pull the tooth. Suddenly, the man started screaming in pain.
The dentist looked surprised and asked, "What's wrong? I gave you a shot of Novocain!"
The man replied, "I know, but you're standing on my foot!"
