A man walks into a bar and sees a monkey sitting on a stool, drinking a beer. The man can't believe his eyes and asks the bartender, "Is that monkey really drinking a beer?"
The bartender says, "Yeah, he's a regular."
The man is intrigued and decides to sit next to the monkey and strike up a conversation. To his surprise, the monkey is quite friendly and they end up chatting for hours, laughing and having a great time.
As the night goes on, the man realizes he's had one too many drinks and decides it's time to head home. He says goodbye to the monkey and the bartender, but before he can leave, the monkey pulls out a deck of cards.
"Hey, wanna play a game of poker?" the monkey asks.
The man is a little tipsy and feeling adventurous, so he agrees. They play a few hands and the man is amazed at how good the monkey is at bluffing.
After a while, the man starts to get suspicious. "Wait a minute," he says to the monkey, "are you cheating?"
The monkey looks at him innocently and replies, "Of course not! I'm just really good at this game."
But the man isn't convinced. He demands to see the monkey's cards and to his shock, he discovers that the monkey has been hiding an ace up his sleeve the whole time.
The man can't believe it. "You sneaky little monkey!" he exclaims. "I thought we were friends."
The monkey just grins and says, "Hey, you're the one who wanted to play cards with a chimp. What did you expect?"
