A man walks into a bar and orders a beer. The bartender sets it down in front of him and says, “Hey buddy, you look like you could use a laugh. How about a joke?”
The man shrugs and says, “Sure, why not?”
The bartender clears his throat and begins his joke. “So, there were these two muffins sitting in an oven. One muffin turns to the other and says, ‘Phew, it’s hot in here.’ The other muffin replies, ‘Oh my gosh, a talking muffin!’”
The man chuckles a little, but the bartender isn’t satisfied. He insists on telling another joke. “Alright, how about this one. Why couldn’t the bicycle stand up by itself?”
The man shakes his head, “I don’t know, why?”
“Because it was two-tired!” the bartender exclaims, laughing at his own joke.
The man can’t help but laugh at the bartender’s enthusiasm, but he’s had enough jokes for one night. He finishes his beer and heads towards the door. As he’s leaving, the bartender calls out, “Hey, wait! One more joke for the road!”
The man sighs and turns back around, “Okay, fine. What’s your last joke?”
The bartender grins and says, “Why did the scarecrow win an award?”
The man raises an eyebrow, “I give up, why?”
“Because he was outstanding in his field!” the bartender declares proudly.
The man can’t help but burst out laughing at the bartender’s ridiculous jokes. He thanks him for the laughs and leaves the bar with a smile on his face, knowing he’ll always have a good joke to tell thanks to the bartender's cheesy sense of humor.
