A man walks into a bar and orders a beer. As he's sitting there sipping his drink, he notices a sign that says, "We have a challenge for you! If you can make our bartender laugh, your drinks are on the house for the rest of the night."
The man thinks to himself, "I can definitely do that," and walks up to the bartender. He says, "Hey bartender, why did the bicycle fall over?"
The bartender looks at him with a straight face and says, "I don't know, why?"
The man responds, "Because it was two-tired!" But the bartender doesn't crack a smile.
Undeterred, the man tries again. He says, "Okay, okay, I've got another one for you. Why couldn't the bicycle stand up by itself?"
The bartender sighs and says, "I don't know, why?"
The man says, "Because it was two-tired!" But still, the bartender doesn't laugh.
Frustrated, the man tries one more joke. He says, "Alright, last one. Why did the scarecrow win an award?"
The bartender, clearly unimpressed, asks, "Why?"
The man says, "Because he was outstanding in his field!" But once again, the bartender remains stoic.
Defeated, the man goes back to his seat and finishes his beer. As he's getting ready to leave, the bartender stops him and says, "You know, I really appreciate your efforts. But I'm sorry, you just don't have the right punchline."
