A man is walking through the woods when he comes across a sign that says "Talking Dog For Sale." Intrigued, he follows the sign and comes to a little farmhouse where an old farmer is sitting on the porch with a dog at his feet.
The man asks the farmer about the talking dog and the farmer replies, "Oh yes, he's a real smart one. He can talk and do tricks too. I'll sell him to you for $100."
The man is skeptical but decides to take a chance and buys the dog. He takes him home and sits him down in front of him.
"Can you talk?" he asks the dog.
The dog nods and says, "Yes, I can talk."
The man is amazed and asks, "Well, what's your story?"
The dog replies, "Well, I discovered my talent for talking when I was just a puppy. I ran away from home and joined a circus where I became the star attraction. I traveled all over the world, speaking multiple languages and entertaining crowds. But eventually, I grew tired of the circus life and decided to retire and live a quiet life on the farm."
The man is so impressed that he decides to show off his new talking dog to his friends. They all gather around and the man says, "Watch this, my dog can talk!"
The dog looks at his owner's friends and says, "Hey, nice to meet you all. I bet you didn't expect to see a talking dog today, did you?"
His friends are shocked and amazed, but one of them skeptically asks, "So, can he really talk in multiple languages?"
The dog grins and says, "Of course, I can. Woof, woof, arf, arf!"
