A man walks into a bar and sees a sign that says, "Free drinks for the person who can make our horse laugh." Intrigued, the man asks the bartender about the challenge.
The bartender explains that they have a horse out back who hasn't laughed in years, and if anyone can make him laugh, they'll get free drinks for the entire night. The man decides to give it a try and heads out to the back to see the horse.
He approaches the horse and whispers something in his ear. The horse starts laughing hysterically, rolling on the ground and snorting with joy. The man heads back inside and claims his free drinks for the night.
The next day, the man returns to the bar and sees another sign that says, "Free drinks for the person who can make our horse cry." Intrigued once again, the man approaches the bartender and asks about the new challenge.
The bartender explains that they have a horse out back who never cries, no matter what anyone does. The man decides to give it a try and heads out to the back to see the horse.
He approaches the horse and whispers something in his ear. The horse immediately bursts into tears, sobbing uncontrollably and dripping tears all over the ground. The man heads back inside and claims his free drinks for the night.
The bartender, amazed at the man's abilities, asks him how he managed to make the horse laugh and cry so easily. The man responds, "Well, to make him laugh, I told him I had a bigger carrot than he did. And to make him cry, I showed it to him."
