Memory Malfunctions: A Comedy of Forgetfulness

A man goes to the doctor and says, "Doc, I think I'm losing my memory. I keep forgetting things!"

The doctor asks, "How long have you been experiencing these memory lapses?"

The man scratches his head and says, "What memory lapses?"

The doctor chuckles and says, "Well, it sounds like you have a sense of humor at least! Let's run some tests to see what's going on."

After a series of tests, the doctor sits the man down and delivers the news, "I'm sorry to say, but it looks like you have a severe case of short-term memory loss. It's quite serious."

The man looks concerned and asks, "Oh no, doc. What can I do?"

The doctor replies, "Well, for starters, try writing things down so you don't forget them. And maybe invest in some memory exercises to keep your brain sharp."

The man nods and thanks the doctor before leaving the office. As he walks out, he pulls out a pen and pad of paper to write down the doctor's recommendations. But as he starts to write, he pauses and says to himself, "Wait, what was I supposed to write down again?"
