The man approaches the dog and asks, "Hey buddy, can you talk?"
The dog looks up and says, "Yes, I can talk."

The dog replies, "Well, I started out by reading books and practicing speaking. And then I took some online courses in linguistics and communication. It wasn't easy, but with dedication and hard work, I was able to master the art of speaking."
The man is impressed and asks, "So, what do you do for a living now that you can talk?"
The dog smiles and says, "I work as a translator for the United Nations. I help bridge the communication gap between different countries and ensure that everyone can understand each other."
The man is blown away by the dog's intelligence and talent. He turns to the bartender and says, "That's amazing! How much does it cost to have a conversation with the talking dog?"
The bartender chuckles and replies, "Oh, it's free for the first question. But after that, it's a 'paw'some fee!"
