The Three Men and the Genie's Tricky Wishes

Three men are stranded on a deserted island when they discover a magic lantern. They rub the lantern and a genie appears, offering them each one wish.

The first man wishes to be off the island and back home with his family. In a flash, he disappears and reappears in his living room with his wife and kids.

The second man wishes to be in a luxurious mansion with all the riches he could ever dream of. In a flash, he disappears and reappears in a grand estate, surrounded by gold and jewels.

The third man, feeling inspired by the extravagant wishes of his companions, decides to make his wish. He confidently tells the genie, "I wish for my friends to be back here with me."

And just like that, the first two men reappear on the deserted island, staring at each other in disbelief.

The moral of the story: Be careful what you wish for, especially when it involves your friends.
