Two factory workers, Bill and Joe, were working on the assembly line one day when Bill noticed that Joe had a screwdriver in his hand.
"Hey Joe, what's that screwdriver for?" Bill asked.
Joe replied, "Oh, it's for tightening screws, of course."
Bill chuckled and said, "You don't say! I always thought screwdrivers were for opening cans."
Joe rolled his eyes and continued working, but the joke got Bill thinking. After a moment, he turned to Joe and said, "Hey, do you think you could use that screwdriver to fix the broken machine over there?"
Joe looked at the machine, which had been out of commission for days, and decided to give it a shot. Amazingly, Joe was able to use the screwdriver to tighten a few loose screws and get the machine up and running again.
Bill was impressed and said, "Wow, Joe, I never knew screwdrivers were so versatile! You really are a handy guy to have around."
Joe shrugged and replied, "Eh, it's all in a day's work for me. But I do have one request."
"What's that?" Bill asked.
Joe smiled and said, "Next time we have a broken machine, can you bring a can opener? I hear they work wonders for fixing things too!"
