One day, a man was walking through a park when he stumbled upon a magic lamp. Intrigued, he decided to give it a rub and out popped a genie.
The genie said, "I will grant you three wishes, but there's a catch. Whatever you wish for, your ex-wife will receive double."
The man thought about this for a moment and then said, "I wish for a mansion."
Poof! In an instant, a grand mansion appeared in front of him. But sure enough, his ex-wife now owned two mansions.
Undeterred, the man made his second wish. "I wish for a million dollars."
Just like that, a briefcase full of cash materialized in his hands. But he couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy knowing that his ex-wife now had two million dollars.
For his final wish, the man thought long and hard before finally saying, "I wish to be beaten half to death."
